From my childhood in Normandy filled with precious objects and their beautiful patinas I have kept my taste for the noble materials given to us by nature, that we can pass on to subsequent generations.

Originally trained as an anthropologist, my passion for discovering the world has enabled me to meet wonderful artisans, working with the gifts of the earth and the sea.  Karachaï is the name of a nomadic tribe in central Asia, and their work, which I am now proud to introduce to you.

Karachaï, three syllables resonant with sensation: horses - my first love, and the joy of the nomadic  discovery of the world.  Journey with us and share the ancient knowledge of the artisans of Central America and Asia.

Our classic range of Karachaï jewellery was launched in 2009, made from silver and natural pearls that I mounted on chains or silk.  This range is joined today by our own designs that are made in Tamil Nadu, Southern India.  We also continue to offer the range Nakamol, made by the Thai artist Nakamol Sussman, following the spirit of Bohemian Chic, made with its dazzling range of materials and colours to bring modernity and glamour to the whole collection.

Karachaï jewellery was originally only available through private sale on dates set by our visits to the artisans, and we have now taken the leap to make the range available through this website.

We invite you to roam through this universe of items that are feminine, chic and full of ethnic charm, and to be fascinated by the Karachaï jewellery collection.
